The Colors of Spring

The theme in our Junior Art Club was: "We love Spring". The students had the option to create flowers, rainbows, or butterflies.

                                       HAVING FUN WITH FINGER PAINTING

For this fun project, students used their finger as the "brush" to spread the paint. We learned how to tap our finger on the paper, then lifting it up again so we could get the finger shaped print. We also learned how to drag the paint to create "finger brush stokes".

(G2) Elf Feet in Action

While searching for a cute holiday project, I found this adorable idea  in Art Projects for Kids
Students drew vertical lines for the feet first and then, using the shape V, they drew the shoes in small steps.
The clothes completed the holiday composition.

(KG,G1) Radiant Leaves (The Tree Project)

For this part of the Tree Project, students created original artwork using leaves and  clay.
Students were given the choice to construct a collage or a clay leaf composition.
