(EV) Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month (2/2)

The students named this painting: "The garden of hope".
One of the students said: " I like working together with my friends because I get to use all the colors."

"Rocks, means strength" said one of the students.

This painting created the biggest mess! Leaves, paint, glue, brushes, rocks, were scattered everywhere!
One of the students named this painting: "Water lilies"

We had hard time gluing the rings. When I said: "Maybe we should not add the rings", the students said: " We like the rings, they look like suns".

We learned how to work with small brushes and nails (textruring the clay flowers).

The symbol of hope.

(EV) Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month (1/2)

The Pre-school and the Elementary students participated in group Pink projects in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Special Thanks:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Technology teacher Ms. Melanie Gillis for giving us the styrofoam pieces for this project.

A collaborative art project.
Hands working together can do miracles.

Every shade of pink was available for our pink projects.

We used special small brushes for detailing. The boys did not complain painting with pink that day!

The end result of working together.

The trees of Hope.

This is a mixed media pink project.
The students used Styrofoam, clay, rocks, sequence, paper and floral wire.
